  • Back seat latch.

    I hat to pull the rubber thingy off the bolt that the back seat latches to in order to remove the side panel to replace the speaker. I pulled it a little too hard I guess.

  • Gotta fix that!

    While replacing the rear speakers I had to remove the side panels. That required pulling the vinyl out from under the window seals. Now I have to figure out how to get it back under there. I'm told the windows have to come out.

    I got the mess cleaned up behind the center console, took a lot of vaccuming and scrubbing. I decided to completely disassemble the console while I had it out and gave it a cleaning like it hasn't had one in 20 years. I fixed all the little wiring problems, installed the new radio and put it all...

    Bare wires are always a joy to find. I think that is probably a ground wire, but it still should have been covered.

    I was getting frustrated with the cd player not working since I installed the new speakers, so I decided to pull it out and take a look. I should have known better than to do that.
