This website was created as class project for IS 523 Information Systems Design & Project Management. After careful analysis of the customer’s needs, existing technology and budget, WordPress was recommended as the platform for this project. Choosing WordPress allowed us to leverage the power of the open source community to provide a website that met the customer’s needs and budget constraints in the available time.

I was recommended for this project based on the success of the Cody Agler Racing project. This website had similar time and budget constraints and the customer had similar needs. WordPress was chosen as the platform for this project because of its low cost, easy to use interface and ease of customization with CSS and open source plug-ins.

This is a single web page that will be used as the home page for http://www.centralnasa.com. Currently their website goes directly to their vBulletin forum. I designed this page as a template using a combination php and html. Each section of the page is located in its own php or html file and included in the index.php file. Using this method the owner can create as many pages as they need while allowing for all future changes to be made in a single place. The design has been approved by the customer and will be added to their site in the near future.
